Stepper Card for Papier

Hi Everyone and Happy Thursday!

This week has been a super busy week for me...with work, deadlines, etc.I miss the long weekend and cant wait for the next public holiday..but somehow I'm glad that I managed to squeeze some time out of my busy schedule to complete my weekly project for Papier.

So this week I will be sharing a card - Stepper Card (3 dimensional card). It is easy, fast and fun to work on this stepper card. Once you have a side stepper base you can decorate it however you like.

"A moment lasts all of a second, but the memory lives on FOREVER".

For this card I have decorate it with some butterflies and balloons using Martha Stewart puncher, pearls and buttons from Momoyo.

Small glass message bottle - highlight for my stepper card.

I have also attached a template of the stepper card for you to make your own. Have fun & enjoy...

Happy Crafting!

Torn Flower - Tutorial for Papier

Happy Thursday Everyone!

Wow time flies..its already Thursday and my turn to share my weekly project. This week it will be different from my earlier sharing. I will be a sharing a tutorial on how to make a Torn Flower. All you need for this project are your left over papers from any of your earlier projects, ink, brad and button, and I guarantee you that it will only take you less than 10 minutes to make 1 flower with 7 easy steps. Simple right?!!

Here are the steps to complete the Torn Flower - enjoy!

Step 1: Tear papers into squares, revealing the inner white core.

Step 2: Fold the squares in half, then corner to corner to create creases. Open out and screw uo into a small ball.

Step 3: Open out and tear the edges randonly, roll over tiny flap to create a "worn" look.

Step 4: Ink over the square to reveal the creases, then ink the edges.

Step 5: Your squares are now complete. Stack them into groups of 4 or 5 - depending on the size of flowers you want to make.

Step 6: Secure your flower using brads or buttons, eyelets, etc.

Step 7: You can also apply some ice stickles on the flower.

The flower can be used as embellishment for cards, layouts, to decorate boxes......and many more.

Well thats all for this week. Till we meet again next week.Happy Crafting!!

Love is in the Air ~ Valentine's Gift Idea for Papier

My project for Papier this week is a small book filled with love messages and quotes of love. I had this idea on last Sunday morning and managed to complete it in the afternoon....I was so into it. And I think this book is a perfect gift for Valentine's day.

The size of the book is a size of a ATC (die from Sizzix).

First thing that you need to do is to select your favorite patterned paper. For this project I have used a paper from My Mind’s Eye collection. You then need to use a Zutter Bind It All tool to punch 4 holes on the left side of each page.

To add design on the paper I have used Pink Paislee’s Sweetness Press On.

Once that is done, you can start to decorate your book.

On each page you can write or stamp your messages/quotes about “Love” etc.

That’s all for this week. Till we meet again..Happy Valentine’s Day!

Artist Printers Tray Project

Happy Sunday everyone!!

As promised I would like to share on my latest project on Artist Printers Tray by 7 Gypsies. Bought the tray from Scrap and Crop during my visit there last week. I wanted to start on the project immediately somehow I only managed to start and complete it on Friday (busy with work, work and work and many other things). But I'm glad that finally I managed to complete and post it on my blog.

The first thing that I did for this project was to select a patterned paper for the background of the tray. I have decided to use a beautiful patterned paper from Kaisercraft Sweet Nothings Collection - Devoted. I measure and cut 12 pieces before I paste to each boxes. The measurement for each box is about 9.5cm x 7.3cm. Once that is done, the tray is ready to be decorated based on your creativity.

Hambly Screenprints - Potrait Gallery

When doing alteration project I found it hard not to use any of Tim Holtz Ideology's product. For this tray I have used few Tim Holtz Ideology products (Ornate Plates, Lockets Keys and Game Spinners).

Smiles - Canvas Mini Album

Happy Friday everyone!!

Today I would like to share a canvas mini album that I worked on last weekend. This time around I have chosen green to be theme colour...green buttons, green butterfly and of course green flower from Prima Marketing.

I would say that there are no special techniques used in this project however; for this mini album (cover) I have used iron on butterfly and wording  from Donna Downy - Smiles Are Proof of Everyday Miracles (which is currently available @ Papier).

Smiles Are Proof of Everyday Miracles – this mini album is filled with my nieces and nephews pictures with their wonderful smiles that will melt your heart. Every page of this mini album is decorated with wording from Pink Paislee patterned paper and also banners from Hambly Studios - Banners.

So, for this week I have worked on 3 projects - 2 layouts (1 is for Papier) and 1 mini album. Stay tune for my next alteration project on 7 Gypsies's Artist Printers Tray....

Till then, Happy Crafting and Happy Holidays to All! If you are travelling, have a safe journey..to my dear 995 have a safe journey...you'll be missed! xoxo
